Yesterday
(Aug. 14) was the 32nd annual Basel Rhine Swim, where over 6,000 people floated
“down the creek together”, starting at 6:00 p.m. There was even a gunshot to start the swim,
which was somewhat startling! The water was a
balmy 23° celsius (roughly 73° farenheit), which is up a few degrees from
earlier this summer. This was the third time we've floated down the river, but never with such a large crowd. Good fun!
